Pes animations.

Check out Pes stop motion videos, they are all brilliant. Here is one of my favourites

Stop motion research.

Further research from my original posts a few weeks back, here is a stop motion animation for a senior project at Savannah College of Art and Design. The post-it notes have been manipulated to do pixel-like stop motion, there are some interactions between live actor and post-its.

Here is how they did it. 3 months planning, 4 days shooting and 6,000+ post-it notes.

Cut-Out Animation: The Converse My Drive-Thru Music Video

Converse produced the My Drive-Thru music video to celebrate its 100th anniversary. As you'll see in the second video below, the process of creating this type of fast-paced cut-out animation is time-consuming and challenging (10,000 paper dolls to animate, for example).

WWF: Earth Hour 2011

Earth Hour 2011: Beyond the Hour from WWF on Vimeo.

A great new stop motion animation to promote Earth Hour using hundreds of people holding colored panels. The part with the bicycle is particularly special.

Pixel Clouds by Daniel Arsham

Delicate plastic sculpture work by artist Daniel Arsham. Though the web site labels the materials as “plastic” my hunch would be these are ping pong balls that have been dyed and somehow adhered into these incredible structures.

Box Typography

"We had to make a Typo-poster for the ABC-House (Art Basics for Children) that would both speak to the children and their parents. The type is completely made out of boxes. It says: "Teaching is the art of assisting discovery"
